Scones must be one of the tastiest and most traditional treats out there. If you have ever travelled to England then you know that wherever you go there is going to be scones. This scone recipe should be a quick and simple favourite that haves you swimming in scones for days to come.

1Make sure to preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced).
2Grease your baking tray making sure it is large enough for all the mixture to be added. You can use a slab tray or a muffin tin.
3Grab your mixing bowl and sift in the flour evenly. When all the flour is sifted in you are ready to add in the lemonade and cream.
4Fold all the ingredients together evenly with a spatula.
5Pour the scone dough out onto a lightly floured bench top or chopping board and start to create small handfulls of scone mixture roughly 3cm round.
6Grab a cookie cutter or something similar and , cut dough into 16 rounds. Place these in a tray ready for the oven.
7Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and hard to tap on the top. Remove from the oven and place on a wire cooling tray.
8Beat remainder of the cream for serving. Boom Lemonade Scones.
